PT Agincourt Resources - Senior Engineer (Short Term Planning)

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (Cow) covering a total area of 1,639 km2. The resource base on 31 December 2015 includes 7.4 Mos. of gold and 69 Mos. of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is 4.5 tap ore to produce in excess of 250,000 oz. of gold and 2-3 Mos. of silver per annum. PT Agincourt Resources engages approximately 2,300 employees and contractors, more than 98% Indonesians, of which 71% were recruited from South Tapanuli and other regions in North Sumatra. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to the Senior Engineer – Short Term Planning.
The role of Engineer - Short Term Planning is to:

• Ensure operation of contractor follow PTAR Operational plan and standard of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Community
• Ensure compliance of Kepmen 555.K/26/M.PE/1995 regarding General Mining Occupational Safety And Health and related Regulations during contractor operational activity
• Prepare short term planning to ensure pit operations can be carried out to deliver ore at the required tonnes and grades to the process plant, as well as waste required for TSF construction
• Monitor and manage the mining contractor as per mining contract, effective use of plant and equipment, and achievement of targets.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
2. Minimum experience of 2 years in mining industry, preferably POP certified
3. Knowledge and practical experience of related mining software, preferably Surpac
4. Well and rounded knowledge of mining operations preferably open pit hard rock mines, familiarity
5. with drilling & blasting and projects works will be an advantage
6. Knowledge of production tracking and reporting
7. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas
8. Competence in speaking, reading and writing English
9. Reasonable level of problem solving, hands on approach, able to motivate and lead sub-ordinate
10. High level of computer literacy skills in Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point
11. High commitment to PTAR standards in environment, safety, business ethic and good corporate governance
12. Good interpersonal and communication skills
